‘Quirky Coastal Scenes’ with James Toogood (Danny kay Art)
James lives and works in the beautiful fishing village of Appledore. It is no surprise that his love of painting is inspired from his home surroundings in North Devon. James paints colourful and quirky coastal scenes predominantly using acrylics on canvas. James paints because the images make him happy and his hope is that these beautiful images make other people who see them, feel the same. He tells us ‘There is too much sadness in the world, so I just want to bring a little bit of colour and fun to help restore the balance”.
Come and see James’ work every day between 10am – 5pm in our Studio Gallery.
