‘Ways of Seeing’ with Teresa Pemberton and Jacqui Harris
These two Cornish artists, whose journeys into painting are happy and dedicated, also have two ways of seeing the world. Teresa’s landscape/seascapes are observed first hand. Back in the studio, she turns her back on her sketchbook, her absorption with the places she walks then resulting into imaginative responses to the very ‘stuff’ of paint. Jacqui’s more mystical, delicate work translates from the soul into exquisite placement of shapes and colour, which bring pleasure and joy.
In the exhibition display, the paintings are juxtaposed; each complementing the other and testifying to the miracle of that which is art. Our exhibition takes place in The Willoughby Gallery. Free Entry.
